New Chapter Begins, Welcome Nick

A new chapter begins for WORLD CARGO TRADERS today, as we welcome back ‘Nick Lamport’ as our new General Manager.

Nick had a fantastic time working overseas for the last year, fulfilling an amazing career opportunity and it’s with this extra knowledge that we welcome him back on board to oversee our growing business.

Nick has extensive and valuable expertise in the freight industry, and we are excited about integrating his vast array of skills and exploring new ideas and possibilities for the growth and management of our company. The freight industry has seen many changes over the years with the implementation of the internet, changing the way businesses are run, and it’s important as a progressive company that we stay on top, and up to date with the most efficient and effective ways to best serve our clients.

As we welcome Nick with open arms and open minds, we say farewell to Andrew Hayes, who has given us many years of loyal service, and we wish him every success as he departs the freight industry to develop his skill set on a different career path.

We have moved!

Today marked the end of an era for World Cargo Traders, after 18 years at our Northgate premise, (33 years in total on the Northside) we have moved on to bigger and better things at our new address at 82 Eastern Rd, Browns Plains.

We have the most amazing staff that all pitched in to make the transition a smooth one, and for that, we are truly grateful.

We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to providing our customers with the same high level of service that they are accustomed to.

We have a couple of new faces in our growing team, and we welcome them on board to begin this new chapter with us.

World Cargo Traders Export Manager Nick Lamport recently attended the inaugural IFC8 Network meeting held in Singapore from the 2nd to the 4th of November as our representative.

We are pleased and privileged to be a Pioneer Member of the IFC8 network and used the meeting to increase our global reach and network with the 50 other Freight Forwarding companies in attendance.

Membership of this group increases our global footprint and, combined with the other networks of which we are already members, improves our buying power with Shipping Lines and Airlines and gives us access to over 1000 offices worldwide.

We look forward to working with the other members of the IFC8 network to add more services and capabilities to our business and provide more opportunities for our customers.
